If you are actively pursuing a career as a sales representative in the Pharmaceutical Community, the CCPE Accreditation Course will provide you with the knowledge in healthcare sciences, most common diseases and treatment available on the market today.

The knowledge acquired will improve your self-confidence and facilitate conversations with physicians and most likely promote your employability. According to the Rx&D Code of Marketing Practices (section 8.2.3), to ensure professional standards for the industry, company representatives must pass the Accreditation Course offered by CCPE within two years of employment. Pharmaceutical employers look favourably on individuals registering for the Accreditation Course.

When you will have completed this course you will be able to meet an important industry-wide standard. You will be able to demonstrate to a potential employer that you are determined, motivated and committed to succeed. You will have also demonstrated that you can study industry-related content in a self-paced context, similar to what will be expected of you in the job. In addition, CCPE’s Continuing Education Courses (total of 21 specialty courses and 2 self-development programs) will provide in-depth information. The more C.E. courses taken (after completing the Accreditation Course), the more employable you will be and more opportunities will be offered to you.

To better prepare and develop for a sales representative role, our program entitled “7 Skills of a Highly Successfully Rep” should be considered. At present all associate members registered for the Accreditation Course are entitled to receive a complementary copy of our program once having successfully completed the exam. The program describes the competencies required in a sales rep role. It is a self – evaluation tool that will assess your current situation and help you identify the specific areas for which you may have a need for development and how to prioritize the areas you need to develop. Most importantly, it will provide you with the tools or resources that will best match your learning.
